The last edition of the Zoute Grand Prix brought many admirable cars to Knokke (Belgium). My personal high was a silver SLR coupé (number 428 according to the chassis number) with black interior. Under the bonnet there is the M 155 5,4 liter V8 Kompressor fully developed and built by AMG and good for 626 hp. Even after almost 15 years, the looks of the SLR are still remarkable. Mercedes never unveiled the exact number of produced SLR coupés but it won’t be more than 1.500 pieces.
