Mercedes-AMG just made her latest masterpiece official: the brand new E AMG W213 generation. As expected, it comes in two version with the E 63 and E 63 S, both with the M177 4,0 l V8 Biturbo and 4MATIC+ (plus!) with variable torque distribution. The most powerful version has 612 hp and 850 Nm. No worries for the AMG drivers who love to smoke up their tyres because despite of the fourwheel drivetrain, the new E 63 S comes with a driftmodus. The sprint to 100 km/h only takes 3,5 s for the E 63 and 3,4 s for E 63 S.
Visually the new AMG has an expressed coupé-style bonnet and a specific new radiator grill. Fuel consumption will be limited to 9,2 l per 100 km thanks to cylinder deactivation and 9 gears. Comfort is secured thanks to air-suspension with three chambers. An “Edition 1” version will be available for around one year after the market launch and will have specific Night black magno paint as well as stripes on the side sill panels. Production only starts in March next year.
