There is no better way to end the year with a little tribute to the Mercedes-McLaren SLR. The car was developed between both automotive legends and was powered by the 5,4 liter V8 from AMG. The SLR was built at a brand new factory in Woking where the McLaren 720S is produced today. Back in September the SLR Club (a private club for SLR owners) was present at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Councours, not far from Paris. As bonus there were two Vision SLR models at display, the ancestors of the final SLR models. As extra bonus one of the visitors of the Arts & Elegance SLR brought his SLR 722S to the event. Which SLR would you pick? The Stirling Moss, the 722(S) or the ‘standard’ SLR coupé/roadster?
