The SL R230 generation has known quite a long career which translated in many different facelift versions. In 2008 (after 7 years) the SL R230 was given a drastical update, which made it the second facelift of the R230 SL. Some love it, some hate it, but what’s for sure is that the facelift looks much better in AMG trim. Last week I spotted a logo free SL AMG, but due to the merged exhaust pipes and the “V12 Biturbo” logo on the rpm counter you can deduct that this is a 612 hp strong SL 65 AMG.
