Another year, another new AMG model. AMG is presenting the GLC 63 AMG 4MATIC+ and GLC 63 AMG 4MATIC+ Coupé as newest members of the AMG family. Both AMGs are available in a more powerful S version (510 hp) and in ‘Edition 1’ trim. The Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 is a direct attack on the Porsche Macan Turbo as well as the Maserati Levante. With the competition in mind, the performance is more than present. In just 3,8 seconds the GLC AMG sprints to 100 km/h which is almost AMG GT R style!

Also visually there is a link with the AMG GT facelift thanks to the Panamerica-like front grille which makes a GLC 63 very recognisable. Thanks to the compact M177 4,0 l V8 with turbochargers positioned within the V-shape, AMG managed to implement the AMG engine in the front rather easily. Traditionally, at market launch the GLE AMG will be available as showy Edition 1. The sport stripes on the sides come as standard and the color (yellow or matt graphite grey) is dependent from the paint choice.

The GLC AMG will be presented at the New York International Motor show later this month. More GLC AMG can be found here.
