Aston Martin just announced the V8 version of its DB11 masterpiece. Next to the Aston Martin DB11 with V12, the V8 version is actually powered by the M177 4,0 liter AMG V8. Some years ago Daimler bought 5% of the shares in Aston Martin and next to the earlier shared electronics, engines are now supplied in in this new Aston Martin’s DB11 V8. The M177 delivers 510 hp and 675 Nm such as in the C 63 S AMG. The V8 version is 115 kg lighter than the V12 version, which should contribute to the handling. There are few visual differences: unique alloy wheel finish, dark headlamp bezels and a pair of bonnet vents. The V8 version is around € 15.000 cheaper than the V12 variant.
