At the Geneva Motor Show, Mercedes-AMG showed a glimpse of its future. AMG surprised with the AMG GT Concept, a four-door coupé as competitor of the Porsche Panamera. Even more surprising is the hybrid power combination, indicated with the “EQ Power +” badges on the mirror cams. This four-door coupé will be the third AMG model that will be fully developed at the AMG headquarter in Affalterbach. We don’t need to explain that the first two models were the SLS and the GT, the fourth model will be most likely the new SL.

The combination of the electric motor and a 4 litre V8 will provide an output of 600 kW which will allow to do 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds. 4MATIC and torque vectoring guarantee incredible grip levels. Interesting is also the battery “AMG Lightweight Performance Strategy” meaning that the number of batteries can be adjusted based on customer or market preference. It is not know yet when this AMG will be ready for market lauch but hopefully sooner than later!
